That seems to be quite a popular trend this year, in everything from style to colors! At Pippa & Pearl, we combine the two with our curated looks that are just for you!
As the leading authority in colors, color trends, and color design, the experts at Pantone announce their “Color of the Year,” each December. Usually, it’s just one special shade that is chosen to reflect a general mood, cultural trends, basically whatever is happening in the world at the time. The Pantone website describes the annual decision as
“A symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”
Unlike past years, it seems the masters of color couldn’t decide on just one! For the first time, a pair of colors were named “Color of the Year.” Meet Rose Quartz and Serenity.
We’re definitely not mad about this symbolic color choice! Not only are these two hues absolutely lovely, but we’re all about this color trend here at Pippa & Pearl. Some of our favorite pieces in the summer collection come in these shades (we have an especially wide selection of Rose Quartz!).
